MAKE UP MONDAY | beauty haul part 1.

heya beauty lovers!

I was shocked to see how many people have been reading my beauty posts on monday so I decided to treat you all because who doesn't love a great haul?! Hopefully you won't get sick of them as I have another two beauty hauls, a homeware haul and a shoe haul upcoming soon:-)

Avon for men - powerful.
Ive blogged about this product before, if you want an in depth post please click here... the post also has a direct link. I can't believe its only 99p as it is such a strong fragrance that lingers on the skin for hours afterwards. Its a generous size and it smells heavenly.

Tresemme heat defence spray.
I think practically everyone uses this heat defence spray, ive really noticed a difference in my hair since using this product. Again, its a repurchase so that must mean I like it! I buy mine from boots for £5.25, you can use this link to be taken directly to the product.

No7 hot cloth cleanser.
I promise this is the last repurchase. Its soooooooo good... gentle, smooth, benefical and cheap. If you want an indepth review you can check out my 2013 beauty favourites post. I used a no7 voucher which made the product less than £5 if I remember rightly. Absolute bargain. The no7 vouchers always gets me!!

Batiste dark and deep dry shampoo.
I'm going to be going natural soon (can't believe I'm ditching the extenstions, I'll probably do an emotional post closer to the time... I'm so pathetic haha) but I thought this would be a great way to reduce the amount of times I have to wash my hair. My hair is sooooo thick and it goes afroy when washed, check my instagram for a picture (shameless plug). So I thought this could be my saviour, I've never used it before but everyone recommends it so I thought I'd give it a go. Its £3.99 from boots:-)

Soap and glory ultra rich body lotion.
It doesn't really smell like any of the more foody smells that I've smelt from soap and glory, this product smells more... fresh to me. To be honest, the packaging sold it to me. But I haven't been let down by any of the other soap and glory products that I've tried before and 'ultra rich' sounds great for my skin. So why not!

Nivea in shower body moisturiser.
Sometimes when I go to the gym or for runs etc... I get sooo lazy after the shower and don't moisture. Some of you may think this is a sin and some of you may be thinking whats the big deal. But for someone who has really dry skin, its a problem. I've seen this advertising everywhere and I even saw fayesfix on youtube talking about it.

Avon dry oil body spray.
I spray this all over my body just before I go in the shower and it always makes me silky smooth afterwards. Its really refreshing and recently I've found myself looking forward to the spray more than the shower hahaha. It just cools you down because the United Kingdom has actually been pretty warm recently! Which makes a nice change:-)

If you have any questions for an uncoming Q&A please can you put them in the comments below:-)

LIPSTICK COLLECTION | nudes.

heya beauties!

I want to firstly start by apologising as this post should have been up yesterday... I guess the half term plans are taking over already, but don't worry today's schedule post will also be going up later today so everything is back on track. If you entered my giveaway make sure you come back to my page later today because I shall be announcing the winner!

Here I have my nude lipstick collection (all item specifics shall be down below), if you haven't already seen part 1 of my lipstick collection then you can click here. I think no.1 and 4 are my favourites but ultimately it's up to you to decide...
Which lipstick do you think I suit the most?

1. Avon- First date.
This is a orangey nude which I abolutely adore. I'm not a fan of the tacky packaging but the colour and pigmentation is amazing, especially for the price. Not to mention, the never ending joke of me using a lipstick called 'first date' on Valentines day.
I unfortunately can't find this exact colour but I know they retail for £3.75 but they're normally on a ridiculously good sale!

2. No7- Chic.
I have swatches on both the No7 lipsticks here and if you're interested in buy them, I would definitely recommend you looking at that post. This is a paler nude and it's normally the one I go for if I have bold eye make up.
You can buy it here for £9.75.

3. No7- Mulberry.
Pigmentation is outstanding on these lipsticks however I have the moisture drench variation meaning they're very moisturising but not as long lasting. This is definitely a more pinky toned nude which I sometimes like to opt for.
You can buy it here for £9.75.

4. Virgin lipstick.
I have no idea where I got this from but I remember I received it free whilst travelling with Virgin. I absolutely love the colour as it's a true nude which is basically a my lips but better shade. This is normally the colour I take in my clutch on a night out. The smell is hideous but I love the shade.

EMPTIES | #2.

hello girlies!

I know I don't get through as many products as quickly as some bloggers, but when I do finish my products I love to share my reviews because this is a good way to get recommendations and not just initial reviews. This may become a text heavy post so lets just get straight into it...

1. Avon little black dress body mist
This is definitely a mature kind of smell. It definitely smells much more expensive than the price tag and I've even shocked people when they ask where my fragrance was from. It's not too overpowering but it leaves you smelling fresh throughout the day. I unfortunately can't find the direct link to this body mist, but this body spray is £3.60 here.
Would you repurchase it? No, but I did like the product.

2. Avon secret fantasy kiss body mist
Not only does the name of the body mist put me off. But the smell, isn't what I expected. I'm sorry Avon, for once you have let me down. It's advertised as 'Surround your senses with a burst of sensual blackberries, flowering violet and romantic magnolia blossom.' However, it just smells of overpowering sickly artificial fruits. I wasn't impressed so I gave it to my nan. You can buy it here for £1.99.
Would you repurchase it? No.

3. Vo5 give me moisture conditioner
I've mentioned this product in my October favourites here (with a direct link to where you can purchase it from) and I'm still lovin' it! If you want to see what I thought of the product then click the link above as my views haven't changed on the magnificent product. I think I'll definitely be using this all the way up till University... but we'll see!
Would you repurchase this? Yes, definitely!

4. Pantene shampoo
I never realised that this shampoo was labelled 'for women with colour' which is probably why it worked so well for me! Not only did it make my extensions silky smooth but it also was great for my natural hair! Which is rare because my natural hair is VERY temperamental... I received this as a gift but I know it was bought from TKMax or TJMax if you're in America (I think?!)... but as you know if you've been shopping there, everything is a one off. So I haven't found it again:-(
Would you repurchase this? Yes.

5. Santuary spa covent garden foaming bath soak
As always it has that signature santuary spa covent garden smell which I absolutely adore. However, it was not foaming and hardly made any bubbles at all for that matter. I thought that I may have not been using enough at once, however when I went on the boots website to get the link and one of the reviews agrees with my opinion. You can buy and see the review here for £6.00.
Would you repurchase this? No.

6. Avon men shower gel
I featured this shower gel in my 2013 beauty favourites so again, if you'd like to read my review please click the direct link above as my views haven't changed. Definitely still my favourite shower gel of all time and I don't think this will be changing any time soon!
Would you repurchase this? I already have:-)

FAVOURITES | january.

heya everyone!

Favourites time!! I absolutely love doing favourites and it seems like you love them too. As always I have some products which I adore! Not that many this month though as I also did current favourites at the beginning of January. But nevertheless, I am so happy with my January picks so let's just get right into it...

Nicky Clarke round brush
I've been absolutely loving this brush for blow drying my hair! It's like the miracle brush, it now only takes me about 7 minutes (precise, I know) to blow dry my hair straight and once I've finished its as if I've just straightened it. All credits go to my mum for introducing this brush to me, if anyone has tried any other Nicky Clarke products please let me know if you have any recommendations.
I unfortunately can't find a direct link.

Avon Citrus burst shower gel
This month I discovered this amazing scent!! It smells like fresh fruit being cut open but I can mainly smell the grapefruit. Absolutely divine! Can I just give a little appreciation to Avon as they have been featured in many of my favourites posts and whilst I was looking back over my previous favourites I realised that I don't give them enough credit.
You can buy it here for £2.00.

FCUK body spray
Again, another FCUK product from the gift set I received for Christmas.  This product is also recommended by the lovely http://elephantstoriesandmore.blogspot.co.uk/, please check her blog out as I think she has great taste. But back to the body spray... again, it's another coconuty product which I absolutely adore! It lingers on the skin for hours after application and it also cools you down ha ha.
I can't find a direct link but I know that it's from Boots.

Avon Citrus burst liquid soap
I don't understand why I've featured hand wash in my favourites twice in 6 months. I must be getting old if I'm pleased with a hand wash ha ha. It has such an aroma! It leaves your hands feeling so fresh!! We've also had lots of compliments since putting it in our bathroom however the only downside is the tacky packaging:-(
You can buy it here for £2.00.

No7 Body oil
Sadly this is almost empty as it leaked all over my college bag:-( so I replaced it with my FCUK body spray shown above. Although the packaging isn't the best. The content is heavenly. Not only does it smell like Vanilla but it also makes you smell nice (just like a perfume) but also moisturises you as well, leaving your skin feeling silky smooth (just like a moisturiser/cream)... I just can't believe it. Why has no-one shown me the concept of 'body oils' before?! MIND.BLOWN.
You can buy it here for £9.50.

DRUGSTORE LIPSTICK COLLECTION | colours.

Hello everyone!

Welcome to beauty related Monday's. Here I have my four favourite drugstore 'coloured' lipsticks, I shall also be doing my four favourite nude lipsticks in two weeks time. If this post gets a good response, I shall be doing a high end coloured lipsticks collection too! I don't wear coloured lipsticks that often so this is a little out my comfort zone. Weirdly number 2 and 3 look VERY similar here, but I promise number three is a little bit darker.

I personally like number one the most which is probably because it's the lightest shade of the four. The second lipstick is the driest formulation out of them all and the third is the most moisturising. However, the decision is up to you...

Which colour do you think I suit the most?
sorry about the excessive amount of boobage.

See you tomorrow for my January favourites

OOTN #4 | something new.

                                           heya girlies!

Just a quick post from me today as my next two posts (which are pre prepared) are quite 'hefty' so I decided to make this one a short one.

Today I have an unusual post for me, in the form of a ball gown;as I don't really have many special events to go to. However, I absolutely loved this dress that my nan bought me for my birthday! So I had to wear it. It's an evening maxi dress by Avon for £19.99. It goes into 16 variations which I shall do a post on in the future when I try/figure out all the styles. If you're curious about the different styles it goes into, I have a leaflet on my birthday 'haul' post that displays them. It's a beautiful bronze colour (however, it is reversible with a black colour on the opposite side) and the quality is phenomenal! I think it's flattening for all body types and I'd definitely recommend it.

This weeks schedule:
Tuesday's post: OOTN.
Friday's post: What's in my college bag.
Sunday's post: Liebster award.

Make sure you come back to see if you've been tagged in my latest liebster award:-)

BEST OF 2013 | beauty products.

hello girlies!
happy blogmas day 23:-)

I can't believe its this close to Christmas?! So today, I thought I'd do a very exciting post by doing my ultimate favourite products for 2013. This was very hard for me because I've tried so many new products this year that I've absolutely loved but I decided to do two items per section.
Have you got any stand out products for 2013?

Left side
Right side
Perfume
Shower and bath
Lady one million: This is my favourite perfume by far which was bought by my boyfriend (thank you!) I’m awful with smell but it’s definitely a ‘sexy’ fragrance that makes you feel a million dollars and the packaging is beautiful!
Avon Bergamot, Peppermint & Sandalwood shower gel for men: I don't even like the smell of peppermint but this is one of the BEST smells I have ever smelt and it lingers on your body for most of the day. This is by far my favourite shower gel.
Tommy Hilfiger girl: This is my second favourite fragrance which is close to lady one million. It’s a mature fruity scent that I absolutely adore and again, I love the simple packaging.
Soap and glory flake away: This smells divine! It can take away any discolouration in your skin and the smell lasts almost all day. It has big chunky particles in it so you can definitely feel it working.
Eye make up
Loose eye shadows
17 Smokey eye palette: This is a green make up palette that I didn’t think I’d like but the colours are very wearable. The palette also has numbers indented in the shades and can with a leaflet to show you how to create different looks which is great for beginners.
MAC in ‘Patina’: This is a lovely highlight colour which is a golden smooth shimmer that makes any eye colour pop out. I love the compact size of a loose eye shadow and it’s great for people that have a mac palette to keep them all together once de-potted.
Rimmel day 2 night mascara: This is definitely my holy grail product that I will repurchase for years to come. It gives such length AND volume; which I’ll show in tomorrow’s new year’s eve eye make-up tutorial.
Maybelline colour tattoo: On and on bronze is a product that has been raved bout in the blogging community but I definitely think it’s worth the hype. As you can clearly see it’s a beautiful colour, for a base or all over the lid.
Lips
Face
Taxi: This is my absolute favourite lip gloss as it is SO minty that it smells like you have stuck polo mints to your lips. It’s a beautiful nude shade and It’s so convenient as it has a mirror and a light which is great for nights out.
No7 hot cloth cleanser: I’ve definitely done my fair share of raving for this product as it is definitely my miracle product (along with Sudocrem which I’ve lost so I couldn’t include) to get rid of them pesky spots.
Max factor: I have a whole blog post including pictures here but I love this as my ‘your lips but better’ shade and oddly I love the simple packaging that it provides.
Phyderma face enhancer: I absolutely love this product! It’s a liquid based highlighter that you can use all over the face, I use this before my foundation but you can be very versatile with this and use it after foundation.
Haircare
Overview
Vo5 Extreme style sea salt spray: I loved this product in the summer as I didn’t need to apply heat. I’d just spray a couple squirts of this into my hair and it would provide me with effortless waves.

Tresemme heat defence spray: This is another holy grail product that I have definitely noticed a difference since using it. My hair has become much healthier and I now always wonder why I never used a heat defence spray before?!

Hope you enjoyed this post. See you tomorrow for a new years eve eye make up tutorial.

BIRTHDAY | what I got.

hiya bloggers!
happy blog mas day 21:-)

On the 28th November, which may seem like a lifetime away but to me it seems like just yesterday.... I turned 18! It was so exciting! I began my day by receiving all my gifts which you can see in picture 2 which I thought was everything for my birthday. However after enduring a day at college (on my birthday! I know, it was painful) to make it worse, I had a law test. Then going to see The hunger games: Catching fire which was a huge let down, my parents surprised me by telling me that they had bought me a car!!! Along with my provisional so hopefully I would be on the road for university (a quick disclaimer... my car is my birthday and Christmas presents off my parents). Let me introduce you to my baby...

2004 Black KA.

On my birthday I also received some presents from the rest of my family and friends...

A bronze dress that can go into many styles which I will be wearing on Christmas day, 18th Birthday balloon, Throntons chocolates, Moustache straws, a black clutch,  a lush gift set, a phone case, lush sweetie pie jelly, a purple iPhone lead and some touch screen gloves. I also received my parka which can be seen in this ootd and a 18th birthday wine glass.

I want to say a hugeeeeeeeeeeee thank you to everyone that got me gifts and even everyone that said happy birthday to me. I am very grateful and appreciative for everything I received!

ESSENTIALS | bath.

hello beauts!

I've had this ingenious (???) idea of a series called 'essentials' which will consist of bath essentials, makeup essentials, eye brow routine essentials, fall/autumn essentials etc etc the list is endless. So as Sunday's are my day of extreme amounts of sleep, a big old fry up, coursework and a pamper day... I normally have some extra time on my hands so hopefully this can become a Sunday post.

Here are some of my bath essentials that I have been using repeatedly for a couple of months and some items have also been featured in a favourites blogpost in the past. Unexpectedly I have a complete different array of products for the shower, so that may be my next Sunday post.

 1. Avon- for men:$ Bergamot, Peppermint & Sandalwood shower gel- on offer for 99p which is perfect because mine is running very low. I don't even like the smell of peppermint but this is one of the BEST smells I have ever smelt and it lingers on your body for most of the day.

2. No7 beautiful skin hot cloth cleanser for all skin types which has been working wonders with my sudocrem featured in my latest favourites, mine came in a gift set so its the smaller version (mahoosive thank you to my boyfriend for picking this out). It's £9.95 from boots which is a great price and 'fayesfix' also recommends this product.

3. I know, I know. I've mentioned this product about 5 times on my blog already but it's just amazing, especially with a hard surfaced brush, as it really does it's intended job thoroughly however aside from the body scrub aspect, it smells absolutely gorgeous!!

4. Vo5 conditioner for dry hair which is only around 99p in my local b&m but it's only £1.99 in boots, see previous blog post for direct link and mini review.

FAVOURITES | june.

Hello honeys!
This is becoming repetitive, but yet again I am sorry for the lack of posts. Here are my June favourites, I don't know how or why but I have 6 products to share with you again like last month. Some of which are hair products, skincare products, body mists and even two drinks, so a real variety! I'm just going to get straight into it, so I hope you enjoy...

On the far left at the back, is the Paul Mitchell smoothing super skinny serum which has a lovely scent of apple and a hint of bubble-gum. I purchased this item at a market for £13.80 and used it daily then forgot about it. It wasn't till I recently saw it on someone's YouTube channel that I remembered my love for this product. It makes your hair shiny without it looking greasy and it hydrates it at the same time. Unfortunately you can't directly buy from the Paul Mitchell website which I find quite odd, but here is a link to the product as it provides a store locator.

In front of that item is the No7 Beautiful skin eye make up remover which is definitely my absolute favourite out of them all for this month. Another No7 product?! I know, I know. Anyway, It can be used for all skin types (stated on the bottle) however, it is an oil based make up remover so I'm unsure how it will work with oily skin. It also takes off waterproof mascara in one swipe without having to pick at it at all. A little goes a long way and I will definitely be repurchasing it. It has changed its packaging since I last bought it and it now has 100ml instead of 30ml... you can buy it here.

To the right of that product is the truth or dare body lotion by Madonna by no means am I a Madonna fan or a fan of her perfume that I received in the gift set with this lotion. But I absolute LOVE this body lotion and I don't leave the house without it. I have received so many compliments over the smell which I agree is ever so lovely; it smells fruity but is definitely a more mature kind of scent. Unfortunately you can't buy it on its own in boots or Superdrug so you won't be able to smell before you buy, but if you're interested here's an eBay link.

Behind that is the Tesco's own Strawberry and banana smoothie. Ever since I have watched itsJudyslife's vlogs, I have been craving fruit smoothie's and when attempted by myself, it's fair to say it wasn't very good, or even good at all for that matter. However this drink includes, 2 bananas, 2 apples, 25 red graps, 1 and 1/4 oranges and 4 strawberries and is 2 of your 5 a day. Need I say any more. I also have the innocent one which is good but it really doesn't compare so bravo Tesco.

To the right of that is yet again another drink but this time its a not so healthy choice, Lucozade - Caribbean crush. I firstly saw this on Funforlouis's vlogs but as he was travelling at the time I was unsure if we had them in the UK as the UK is always behind, however when I saw my friend Laura drinking it and she explained that it was only 79p, I HAD to try it. It tastes of coconut and pineapple, two fruits I know not everyone is fond off. But I certainly am.

Last but not least is the orange bottle at the front on the far right, which is the Miami party body mist by Avon. Again, this is another product I will not leave the house without, but unfortunately it is definitely a summer fragrance and I don't think I'll be able to use it in the winter so I'm trying to use it up even though a little does go along way and it has an incredible saying power in my opinion. It smells exotic and fruity but also something else that I can't quite explain but it does remind me of being on holiday at the beach. It's currently on a massive sale down to £2.50 from £10.50, buy it here.
