FAVOURITES | january.

heya everyone!

Favourites time!! I absolutely love doing favourites and it seems like you love them too. As always I have some products which I adore! Not that many this month though as I also did current favourites at the beginning of January. But nevertheless, I am so happy with my January picks so let's just get right into it...

Nicky Clarke round brush
I've been absolutely loving this brush for blow drying my hair! It's like the miracle brush, it now only takes me about 7 minutes (precise, I know) to blow dry my hair straight and once I've finished its as if I've just straightened it. All credits go to my mum for introducing this brush to me, if anyone has tried any other Nicky Clarke products please let me know if you have any recommendations.
I unfortunately can't find a direct link.

Avon Citrus burst shower gel
This month I discovered this amazing scent!! It smells like fresh fruit being cut open but I can mainly smell the grapefruit. Absolutely divine! Can I just give a little appreciation to Avon as they have been featured in many of my favourites posts and whilst I was looking back over my previous favourites I realised that I don't give them enough credit.
You can buy it here for £2.00.

FCUK body spray
Again, another FCUK product from the gift set I received for Christmas.  This product is also recommended by the lovely http://elephantstoriesandmore.blogspot.co.uk/, please check her blog out as I think she has great taste. But back to the body spray... again, it's another coconuty product which I absolutely adore! It lingers on the skin for hours after application and it also cools you down ha ha.
I can't find a direct link but I know that it's from Boots.

Avon Citrus burst liquid soap
I don't understand why I've featured hand wash in my favourites twice in 6 months. I must be getting old if I'm pleased with a hand wash ha ha. It has such an aroma! It leaves your hands feeling so fresh!! We've also had lots of compliments since putting it in our bathroom however the only downside is the tacky packaging:-(
You can buy it here for £2.00.

No7 Body oil
Sadly this is almost empty as it leaked all over my college bag:-( so I replaced it with my FCUK body spray shown above. Although the packaging isn't the best. The content is heavenly. Not only does it smell like Vanilla but it also makes you smell nice (just like a perfume) but also moisturises you as well, leaving your skin feeling silky smooth (just like a moisturiser/cream)... I just can't believe it. Why has no-one shown me the concept of 'body oils' before?! MIND.BLOWN.
You can buy it here for £9.50.

WHAT'S IN MY | college bag.

hello everyone!

Today I've got a 'What's in my college bag' and I'm thinking about doing a 'What's in my hand bag' next... so let me know if you think that's a good idea:-) I know loads of people have such interesting things in their bag but I try to keep it to a minimum and only travel with my necessities.

It's kind of ridiculous that I don't have a pencil case for college but I just take a pen which is from my mums workplace and it has Jamaica written in pink on the side. My bag which is the main feature of this post is from New look which I purchased in the boxing day sales for £30 originally £50+ but I don't have the price tag any more. I absolutely love the chain strap and that's the main reason I purchased it. It has a pattern on the other side but I'm not a fan of it, so I always hide it ha ha. I ALWAYS have to have a lip balm because my lips get ridiculously dry. I love this lip balm from the Limited Edition vaseline range. I study Business at college so I have to take a scientific calculator. Along side the calculator I have a pink notepad from Tesco and a folder from B&M. As I also study Law, I have to revise for hours and my eyes go really blurry after a while so I have to wear glasses this case is just from my local opticians. I also have a body spray from FCUK which will be featured in my January favourites post which is coming in 3 weeks time. My purse which matches my bag's colour is from River Island and I've had it for like 2 years so I really need a new one! I also have a flavoured water in my bag, in the flavour strawberry and kiwi which I don't really like but it's the only flavour we had in that day. I normally have lemon and lime. Finally, I have some touch screen gloves which were featured in my birthday haul from Poundland; so that I can text whilst I walk to the bus stop in the morning.

What's your number one necessity you take to college?

FAVOURITES | current.

hiya girlies!

Since I'm not doing a 'what I got for Christmas' post, I thought this would be a great way to see some of my favourite beauty presents that I received. I will also be doing a January favourites if I discover enough products so keep your eyes peeled for that. Anyway, lets just get straight on with it...

Both FCUK products I cannot find links for however I know they're from Boots.

FCUK sugarscrub
I've been absolutely loving this sugar scrub as a lip scrub! I think the size of the product is a happy medium for both travelling and every day use. But the product itself is amazing! It get's all the dead skin away and leaves the lips feeling smooth and moisturised. Unlike the lush lip scrubs in coco cola which I hate and bubblegum which doesn't appeal to me as far as lip scrubs go, this is in a strawberry extract, sweet almond, jojoba oil and shea butter which is right up my street. Unfortunately I can't find a direct link.

Clean and Clear ex foliating daily wash
I'm unsure whether to do a 'boxing day sales haul' so let me know if you'd like to see that. But I picked up this daily wash for a magnificent 81p from my local Tesco!!! It's definitely one of my favourite face washes I have ever used, alongside the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser. This has now taken over my phyderma and other Clean and Clear face washes I included in my skincare essentials post. It has small beads in the product to ex foliate your skin but it also lathers into this creamy smooth consistency which relaxes the skin. This is definitely my new miracle product to get away pesky spots. It retails for £2.78 at boots.

Body shop coconut shower gel
I received this from my Friend Laura, who I know reads my blog, so a massive thank you to you! This is definitely right up my street as I LOVE coconut scents and this is about as cocounty as it gets. It's so moisturising and it lingers on your skin after your shower which makes it worth while. I've also got the body lotion which I'm yet to try so I'll keep you all updated whether I like it or not. It retails for £4.00 at body shop.

FCUK moisturising body wash
I'm so shocked that I've got two products from FCUK as this is the first time I have ever used their products. I received a FCUK gift set from my nanna for Christmas and as you can see I am loving the contents! Again, I can't find a direct link sorry.

Real techniques expert face brush
I can't believe I am now the proud owner of a real techniques brush! It's crazy. Massive thank you to Charlotte if she ever comes across this post. I use this brush for buffing in foundation and concealer and it's true that real techniques brushes are definitely worth the price. It is so dense and soft that it leaves a flawless finish like a beauty blender would but it's a much quicker approach. It allows me to use much less foundation but still get the same finish. Basically... they're definitely worth the hype and I've already looked at which brush I'm getting next! This brush retails for £8.99 at superdrug.

p.s I would like to give a quick shout out to my best friend Laura who's now made a blog (wooooo!) It's going to be photography based as she's currently studying A level photography. I'd love it if you would look at her blog:-)

You will see my favourite fashion Christmas pieces in upcoming outfit posts soon
