hiya girlies!
Since I'm not doing a 'what I got for Christmas' post, I thought this would be a great way to see some of my favourite beauty presents that I received. I will also be doing a January favourites if I discover enough products so keep your eyes peeled for that. Anyway, lets just get straight on with it...
Both FCUK products I cannot find links for however I know they're from Boots.
FCUK sugarscrub
I've been absolutely loving this sugar scrub as a lip scrub! I think the size of the product is a happy medium for both travelling and every day use. But the product itself is amazing! It get's all the dead skin away and leaves the lips feeling smooth and moisturised. Unlike the lush lip scrubs in coco cola which I hate and bubblegum which doesn't appeal to me as far as lip scrubs go, this is in a strawberry extract, sweet almond, jojoba oil and shea butter which is right up my street. Unfortunately I can't find a direct link.
Clean and Clear ex foliating daily wash
I'm unsure whether to do a 'boxing day sales haul' so let me know if you'd like to see that. But I picked up this daily wash for a magnificent 81p from my local Tesco!!! It's definitely one of my favourite face washes I have ever used, alongside the No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser. This has now taken over my phyderma and other Clean and Clear face washes I included in my skincare essentials post. It has small beads in the product to ex foliate your skin but it also lathers into this creamy smooth consistency which relaxes the skin. This is definitely my new miracle product to get away pesky spots. It retails for £2.78 at boots.
Body shop coconut shower gel
I received this from my Friend Laura, who I know reads my blog, so a massive thank you to you! This is definitely right up my street as I LOVE coconut scents and this is about as cocounty as it gets. It's so moisturising and it lingers on your skin after your shower which makes it worth while. I've also got the body lotion which I'm yet to try so I'll keep you all updated whether I like it or not. It retails for £4.00 at body shop.
FCUK moisturising body wash
I'm so shocked that I've got two products from FCUK as this is the first time I have ever used their products. I received a FCUK gift set from my nanna for Christmas and as you can see I am loving the contents! Again, I can't find a direct link sorry.
Real techniques expert face brush
I can't believe I am now the proud owner of a real techniques brush! It's crazy. Massive thank you to Charlotte if she ever comes across this post. I use this brush for buffing in foundation and concealer and it's true that real techniques brushes are definitely worth the price. It is so dense and soft that it leaves a flawless finish like a beauty blender would but it's a much quicker approach. It allows me to use much less foundation but still get the same finish. Basically... they're definitely worth the hype and I've already looked at which brush I'm getting next! This brush retails for £8.99 at superdrug.
p.s I would like to give a quick shout out to my best friend Laura who's now made a blog (wooooo!) It's going to be photography based as she's currently studying A level photography. I'd love it if you would look at her blog:-)
You will see my favourite fashion Christmas pieces in upcoming outfit posts soon
xx
