FAVOURITES | non beauty.

heya everyone!

On the 3rd of this month, I decided that I was going to do a non beauty favourites as well as a beauty favourites, but well... I got busy   I have no idea what happened?! But they're finally here. Let me know if you like these types of posts as this is the first non beauty favourites I've done.

sorry about the picture quality, It's currently 7am so the lighting is awful

1. So in my weekly breakfast post, I told you that I was starting the gym. However, when my friend Joe introduced me to this new app he downloaded on his phone called 'fitness pal'... I decided this was a better option to maintain my weight. Don't worry! I wasn't trying to loose weight. In a nutshell fitness pal is an app that takes your height, weight, age etc and determines how many calories you should be having a day according to your own evaluation whether you want to lose, gain or maintain weight. Once that quick process is complete you come back daily to update what you have eaten and it will tell you how many calories you have for the day which really shocked me when I realised which foods were taking up all my calories. It also gives you a pyramid so you can see what proportion of fats, carbs and protein you're having... and the best thing is that it's free.

2. So as you know I've been on this calorie counting app so recently my new favourite snack is the muller light raspberry and cranberry yogurt. I was hesitant to try this yogurt when my nan purchased it because for some reason "muller" also reminds me of them rice yogurts and the texture of that really freaks me out. But when I tried this yogurt, I realised not only is it bigger than the corner yogurts which were my original favourites but they taste just the same, if not better... but for LESS calories. You can tell I'm passionate about food ha ha.

3. My favourite songs this past month are:
Tori Kelly: Dear Mr No-one.
Ed Sheeran: I see fire.
Ellie Goulding: Burn.
Lana del Ray: Summertime sadness.

 4. One of my new favourite comedies that my dad thankfully introduced me too (cheers dad!) is "Guess who". Basically my dad picked up this film because the main actor reminded him of my boyfriend and it was in the 3 for £5 section *cough* cheap skate. Guess Who is a 2005 American comedy film about race relations directed by Kevin Rodney Sullivan. But in easier terms it's ironically about a white male meeting his black girlfriends parents for the first time. Anyway, before this becomes a review... I would really recommend this film!

Stay tuned for a giveaway on Friday and then after that I will be started blogmas!
xx
