ESSENTIALS | make up removers.

hello cuties!
happy blogmas day 22:-)

I can't believe this is going to be my last ever essentials post for 2013 and I've decided that I'm only going to do essential posts every season instead of every Sunday so this will be the last one for a while. This is the final segment of my skincare theme this week which included face washes, moisturisers and make up removers... which you can see in the picture to the right. However, in this post, I will only be talking about two products in the picture to the left.

No7 Beautiful skin eye make up remover - sample size.
I typically use this when I want a full cleanse or when I've just got out the bath as it is definitely the more luxurious out of the two as it is very smooth and oil based. I only have the sample size from a gift set and It's lasted me so well but I am definitely going to be picking this up in the boxing day sales. I use it all over my face regardless of it being designed just for eye make up and I find it so delicate and gentle. It's designed for all skin types and this is definitely my favourite of the two.

Body shop camomile gentle eye make up remover - full size.
Again, even though this is just designed for eye make up... I use it all over my face. I prefer using this one when I go abroad or when its summer as it is liquid based which oddly I don't prefer over oil based. I've tried lots of liquid make up removers that gets a lot of hype, such as the Loreal micellar solution which I absolutely hated. However, this is my second favourite make up remover which has lasted me agessssss.

see you tomorrow for my best beauty products of 2013

ESSENTIALS | moisturisers.

heya skincare lovers!
This is the second segment of my skincare theme this week which will include three sections, face washes, moisturisers and make up removers... which you can see in the picture to the right. However, in this post, I will only be talking about three products in the picture to the left. I know technically sudocrem is not a skincare product but I absolutely love this product so I take every opportunity to talk about it.

Double base gel
I was prescribed this by my doctor as I have very dry skin and I was told that this is practically good for hydrating dry or chapped skin conditions. Since the product is extra thick, it's lasted me this well since summer. However, I use this product when my skins feeling practically dry. I would definitely recommend going to see your doctor for a cream/gel of some sort if you have acne prone or dry skin.

Johnsons 24 hour moisture
This product comes in all different skin types, however I have purchased the 'dry & sensitive skin' variation. It has the typical Johnsons smell and I love the glass jar packaging. It's very delicate and I use this every morning before applying my makeup because it's very moisturising. However, the only downfall is that it runs out quite quickly.

Sudocrem
As explained above, I know this isn't a moisturiser but I didn't know which category to put it in and I had to include it as it is a vital part of my skincare routine! This extremely thick paste is a miracle product for spots!! It was initially used for baby rashes however it's been recommended by many people as a great spot treatment. I use this when I'm having a bad skin day and its never failed me yet.

See you tomorrow for an OOTN and FOTN.

ESSENTIALS | face washes.

hello bloggers!
happy blog mas day 17:-)

I'm going to be doing a skincare theme this week which will include three segments, face washes, moisturisers and make up removers... which you can see in the picture to the right. However, in this post, I will only be talking about the three products in the picture to the left.

Clean and Clear - deep action, sensitive skin face wash.
This is a product which I wasn't completely sold on at the start but I've grown to love it! I use this product when I have a shower in the night as it's a creamy thick face wash that makes me feel like I've had a deep cleanse before bed. It's a Johnson & Johnson product which I always find gentle on the skin, but since this claims to be for 'sensitive skin'... I think it's incredible.

No7 Hot cloth cleanser.
This is my favourite ever face wash! They sell these in bigger tubes normally, however I received this in a gift set for Christmas last year. Since then I have used it the majority of Sunday's after and I've still only used this much!? However, please note, this picture was taken way in advance and it's almost running out now:-( This product is definitely the trick to keeping my spots to a minimum however you definitely couldn't use this product too regularly. I am definitely going to repurchase this when it runs out.

Phyderma face cleansing gel.
This product is so original and delicate as it's a gel based formula, which unfortunately always makes me over proportion the amount I need. However as a morning face wash this is so refreshing as it is made of plant complex and essential tea tree oil, that smells like cucumber so it's a great way to make you feel fresh and wake you up.

see you tomorrow for a room tour in pictures
