REVIEW | after earth.

Hello bloggers!
Recently I have been watching a lot of new films that have just been released into the cinema and I always look for blog posts on them first, so I've decided to make my own. So I recently went to watch 'after earth' with my mum as Will Smith is one of our favourite actors, in particular his films hitch, men in black, pursuit of happiness, seven pounds and I am legend. So as you can see I pretty much enjoy all of his films.

However... I have to say this just doesn't meet the standard. I'm unsure whether its the fact that Will Smith is hardly in the film compared to his son Jaden or the twist as some things throughout the film had clearly not been thought out and some areas looked a little rush. Although I was disappointed with this film, I still think it is a good film, just not one of my favourites by Will Smith.

The film has received a star rating of 3 out of five and I think that's about fair, however after reflecting on the film, if Will Smith did not feature in the film, I would give it a 2, in my opinion.

What's the film about?
Will smith who's name is Cypher in the film and his son Jaden who's name is Kitai go on a galactic adventure but make an unexpected stop on Earth when their spaceship crashes. Finding themselves on a planet evacuated by the human race and now ruled by a super-evolved animal species, the pair must undertake a journey to call for help, with each depending on the other for survival.
See trailer here.

I love the quote from the film so I will end with that... 'danger is very real, but fear is a choice'.

6/10

REVIEW | lush eyeliner.

Hello everyone!

Today's post is about the lush make-up range which I was more than shocked about when I heard about it. Whilst making a purchase for my friends birthday, I received this product for free, which was great because I use blue eyeliner on my bottom waterline every day. However when I tried this out and looked on the site for the price I was so shocked to see the price tag at £14.50!! See here.

So my initial opinion was that the applicator was awful! As mine looks slightly bent in areas, however I have read some other reviews on this product and some people's applicator looks fine, so hopefully I will be able to sort that out. The staying power and pigmentation is amazing on the product as you can see by the photographs. The eyeliner which is in the colour 'in charge' is definitely an electrical blue and becomes almost like a stain, which I personally love.

I do agree that the price is WAY to high, however as I use this product every day and it has become part of my every day routine, I think this has replaced my Avon super shock eyeliner in shimmering sapphire, as I doubt I will need to keep repurchasing it very often as you get a very generous amount, so I think I can splash every couple of months. I would advice that you blend in the product with a sponge brush as it makes it look more put together.

If you don't normally use blue eyeliner and won't use it regularly I advice that you don't invest because the price for this product is steep.

Pro's: Pigmentation, Staying power and size of the product.
Con's: Price and the applicator.

4/5.

Hope you enjoyed this review.
Best wishes

REVIEW | soap and glory.

Hi bloggers!

I decided to do a review on soap and glory products as boots are doing a 3 for 2 on selected soap and glory products were you get the cheapest free.

I'm fully aware that soap and glory products get a lot of hype and I'm not normally someone to get sucked in with the latest 'trends'. However, I don't even think the hype it has received is enough for the products I am about to mention. Truthfully I have only used two products out of their range however, I have already got the body scrub in my boots cart and I use the products I'm about to review every day without fail.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter™ Body Butter 300ml

The first product I am going to review is the white, thick, smooth, creamy, and velvety intense body lotion. I use this daily every day I get out of the shower and I find that I don't need to reapply this during the daily, regards of my dry skin. As you can see by the markings, you can use generous amounts of this product and it will still last a lifetime. It smells beautiful! It has a strong perfume smell but it also smells quite sweet, fruity and fresh.

4/5 as I'm not as fond of the bulky packaging.

Soap & Glory clean on Me™ Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel 500ml

The next product I am going to review is the shower gel which comes in a large container and I especially like the pump as it provides easy use. It's a peach coloured slightly thick liquid gel which is my personal favourite out of the two products I am reviewing. It's foamy, fruity and leaves you smelling like a bag of sherbet.

5/5 as It truly is one of the best shower gel's that I have found.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope that you do purchase or at least smell the soap and glory products next time you go to the 'drugstore'.

Best wishes
